On Thursday nights 4D, one of the best nightclub bands on the island, play here with their mix of hip hop, R&B and reggae. They represented Barbados at Midem Cannes 2000. Steel pan music is played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, reggae on Mondays, calypso on Thursdays and Saturdays, and then things take a turn for the worse with karaoke on Sundays. Theres also international music most nights. Fishermans Pub, Speightstown, St Peter, T 4222703. 1000-1600, Right on the seafront by the jetty, this place offers a no-frills night out with no table service. Dinner is from 1800-2130, except Sundays 1800-2200 and Wednesdays night, when dinner is served from 1900 with a steel band and floor show from 2000 on the deck over the sea (diners pay US$17.50 and non-diners US$2.50).
