A floating fun palace, 100 ft long and 40 ft wide with four decks like a Mississippi paddle steamer. Unlike the other cruises, it pulls up on the beach. During the day it rolls out the Malibu Splash water slide and is a semi-submersible, while at night there is limbo dancing and a floor show during the dinner cruise. This is where the fun and games take place, with walking the plank, swinging on a rope, and other such piratical pranks. The drinks are plentiful and very definitely unlimited. There is also a meal, music and dancing. It costs US$55 for the dinner cruise. On daytime cruises there is swimming and snorkelling. Casbah, Holetown, St James, T 4321099. 2100-0200. The best place on the west coast, otherwise known as Baku because it is in the same building as La Terra and Baku restaurants. It is billed as European style and Moroccan themed, and is more sophisticated than some of the other places on the south coast, with fewer teenage tourists and popular with those in their 20s and 30s. It is perhaps quieter than some other clubs although you still cant hear yourself think and it can get packed. The setting is glorious, right beside the sea with the waves lapping below. Get a table lit by fairy lights overlooking the water; its very romantic. Free drinks on Thursdays, Latin beat on Wednesdays, plus excellent live music some nights with local bands.
