Hockey is played on an astroturf hockey pitch at the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex but there are also matches at the Kensington Oval cricket ground, BET Sports Club and Banks Breweries. Banks International Hockey Festival is the largest event of its type in the Americas and is held over a week in August with 37 local teams and some 26 from overseas.
