If you're keen to stay outside of central Berlin, this is quite a reasonable option. In the middle of the old cobbled centre of Köpenick, the Hotel Alter Markt has modern rooms facing the Heimatmuseum and an old square. Staff are friendly and there's a buffet breakfast. However, it's a fair walk or a tram ride from the station, and at the front of the hotel the sound of cars driving over the cobbles is noticeable.
