Thermen is described as an oasis of calm undisturbed by the noise, stress and chaos of the city and for once advertising is telling the truth. This spa has saunas, aqua gymnastics and swimming pools with water with salts from the North Sea and Dead Sea rather than chlorine. There is also a separate Wellness spa facility which provides massages, facials, manicures, flotariums, and something entitled Cleopatras bath! However, these all cost quite a lot more. The emphasis here is on fun with a wave machine, Crazy River ride, 120 m-long slide, raging current and waterfall all to contend with. There is also a kids pool with water 20 cm deep and water figurines and slides to keep them entertained. For the adults there is a Wellness centre that provides salt water baths and hot whirlpools. There is also a sauna area complete with an Egyptian sauna, a wooden alpine sauna, a Turkish bath and a bio-sauna. Outside is a heated tropical garden and a large garden complete with adventure playground and volley ball nets. Aquafitness, Thai-Bo, Aerobics and Judo for children are some of the fitness opportunities offered.
