Built for the 1936 Olympic Games, where Hitler so famously refused to shake Jessie Owen's hand, the stadium was partly designed by Albert Speer and is the epitome of fascist architecture: grand, neoclassic with lots of well-built naked statues. Now the stadium hosts Hertha BSC football matches, the German cup final and pop concerts. Check the local press for details.
