Bologna Sogna or Viva Bologna This summer arts festival was recently initiated in order to stimulate the city in the summer when much of the population escapes either to the coast or the mountains. Open-air cinema and subsidized shows of all types go on all over the city and a temporary stage is put up in piazza Maggiore.
