Begin your day with a full Irish breakfast, guaranteed to slow you down to the Irish pace of life for a few hours at least. Spend the morning marvelling at the collection of gold in the National Museum, followed by a quick gawk at the Picasso in the National Gallery and a really classy lunch at The Commons. In the afternoon stroll around the shops and alleys of Temple Bar before hopping on a bus to the Guinness Storehouse to enjoy a birds-eye view of the city and a pint of Guinness to boot. In the evening head back to Temple Bar to sample modern Irish cuisine at Eden. After dinner enjoy a drink at Oliver St John Gogartys, where youve a good chance of catching some traditional Irish music, or grab a cab over to the Brazen Head, Dublins oldest bar. The next port of call for nightowls should be Harcourt Street, where the clubs get going around 2300. Chocolate Bar, POD and the Red Box are the hippest joints in town.
