The two main Glasgow teams are Rangers and Celtic, who regularly attract crowds of over 50,000 and are two of the wealthiest clubs in Britain. They completely dominate the Scottish football scene. The domestic season runs from August to mid-May. Most matches are played on Saturday and there are also games during the week on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Ticket prices are around £20. Celtic FC are based at Celtic Park (Parkhead, T 0141- 556 2611, http://www.celticfc.net) while Rangers FC are based at Ibrox Stadium (T 0870-600 1972, http://www.rangers.co.uk). The national team plays at Hampden Park, which boasts UEFA five-star facilities. Its the location of the Football Museum and stadium tours are available.
