With a good range of Thai drinks (Mekong whisky) and cocktails, it serves satay, ribs and spring rolls all night, and upstairs are a small dance floor, jenga sets, pool table and poles for wannabe pole dancers. Sophisticated Japanese snacks like sushi platters come from next-door Kokage, and the menu boasts classic cocktails, cigars and champagnes. Music is mainly funk and soul, dress is smart casual. A small bar perched on the corner of Lockhart Road and Penwick St, the main attraction here is that the huge doors open onto the delights of Wan Chai, perfect for a people-watching, cooling beer on a hot day. Cosy bar in an alleyway which has always been popular for its great selection of wines, and bar snacks. The decor is enhanced by plenty of plants and flowers. The place for hanging out, people watching and expensive drinks very stylish minimalist décor which seems to attract the local celebs. A place to celebrate the big win at the races. The place for beer lovers, with two draught German beers and other bottled varieties, plus German food like smoked pork sausages with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. A good-natured noisy pub with live music on Wed and Fri, plus DJ nights, quizzes, good international sport on TV and traditional Irish food, including tiramisu, made with Irish whiskey.
