Hong Kong Chinese Arts Festival (mid Oct-mid Nov) http://www.discoverhongkong.com For one month, this biennial (2003, 2005 etc) presents the best arts and culture from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, including stage, exhibitions and seminars, with the aim of promoting understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture and history. Events are held at various locations. Macau International Music Festival This brings together orchestras, choirs and musicians from around the world, with a combination of western, Chinese classical and contemporary music, usually with an opera as the finale. Venues range from baroque churches, Chinese pavilions and the Cultural Centre.
