Watersports have enjoyed a revival and there are many beaches around Hong Kong revered in the international surfing scene, even though the water isnt always that clean or exciting. Diving is possible, although there is far better diving elsewhere in Asia. Big Wave Bay, near Shek O, is surfers paradise and Tai Long Wan in Sai Kung has bigger waves, although is less accessible.
