Half marathon (Mar 28-30 in 2004 but dates vary, so consult http://www.maratonaclubeportugal.com) There are two half marathons in Lisbon, one in March and another in September, each beginning from opposite ends of the city. The March race starts on the south side of Ponte 25 de Abril, following the course of the River Tagus and finishing point in Belém at the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos.
