Serious runners wanting to enter the Flora London Marathon (26 miles from Greenwich and Blackheath to The Mall), in April each year, should apply to enter a ballot. Entry forms are distributed in Marathon News (a free magazine available in specialist sports stores). Overseas visitors wanting to receive copies of the entry form should send a self-addressed envelope (stating the number you require), with two international reply coupons to: Overseas Entry Co-ordinator, 91 Walkden Rd, Walkden, Manchester, M28 7BQ, England. All entry forms for the Marathon must be submitted for ballot by mid-October of the previous year.
