With two to four days at their disposal, art fans can spend longer at the Triángulo del Arte museums. If youre in a sightseeing mood visit the over-the-top Palacio Real or spend some money in Salamancas chi chi boutiques if youre not. A stroll through the Parque del Oeste and the Panteón de Goya is a wonderful way to spend a sunny afternoon, or you could hire a bike and make for the wild expanse of the Casa de Campo. Watch the sun set over the mountains from Las Vistillas, where there is a clutch of great bars and restaurants (try the Champagnerí María Pandora or Entrecajas and dont miss the Rastro flea market followed by the required tapas crawl on Sunday.
