A combination of a return on the Paris-Rome night train and a 3-day all-Italy Domino pass costs about £150, cheaper than an ordinary ticket all the way. London-Paris on Eurostar is around £80 return. Train station At the eastern end of piazza Garibaldi, frequent mainline trains arrive at Napoli Centrale from Rome and from the south. Longer-distance trains also come from Milan, Bologna and Florence. Eurostar services arrive at a part of the station which is confusingly called Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, even though its part of the same complex. Mainline trains are useful for trips to Paestum and Caserta. Tickets must be stamped with the date in a validating machine on the platform before use. Metro trains on Linea 2 also leave from here to Montesanto, Chiaia (piazza Amadeo), Mergellina, Campi Flegrei and Pozzuoli. The Circumvesuviana is underneath the Stazione Centrale, a level down.
