Another hotel in the heart of animated St Germain, but set back from the street, with a courtyard either side. This advantage means that none of its rooms suffer from street noise.
The rear courtyard garden has tables for breakfast or afternoon tea, but if the weather is too cold, guests can eat in the covered garden room.

A tiny hotel in part of the former monastery buildings of the St-Germain-des-Prés abbey. On a small street, it is only paces from the hubbub of Odéon and the boulevard St Germain.
The hotel is characterized by rough-stone walls, exposed beams, patterned wallpapers and wrought-iron touches. Some of the rooms have four-poster beds.
The limits of space and the busy fabrics create either a cosy, or cluttered, feel, depending on your point of view.

A budget hotel with 25 rooms, some with en-suite facilities. The best six rooms look onto the street, which is pedestrianized but nonetheless noisy by night. The reception/bar/breakfast room, with small TV,
is kitted out in safari style, with leopard-print chair covers, and lion and giraffe cushions and paintings.

A budget option with character. Despite the wonky bedside tables, the curling wallpaper and the decrepit breakfast room, it is essential to book in advance.
The best rooms have a view over the grassy square in front of St-Julien-le-Pauvre church, and beyond, the Seine and Notre Dame.
