Every winter (December to February) a small, festive ice rink is set up in front of Hôtel de Ville, complete with skate-hire. It’s very popular with show-offs so beginners might feel intimidated. Lac Supérieur in the Bois de Boulogne is transformed into a second open-air ice rink, weather permitting.
