With only a day, you should confine yourself to the Alcázar and cathedral (or the Museo de Bellas Artes), both of which take a fair portion of time to appreciate. Have a wander around Barrio Santa Cruz too and find somewhere to have lunch before hitting El Arenal for some great tapas in the evening. See some flamenco, either at a tablao or one of the bars that puts it on regularly; if you fancy kicking on, cross over to Triana, or for a more alternative scene, head for the Alameda de Hércules. Dont kill yourself sightseeing though; eating and drinking in Seville is perhaps its supreme charm.
