Feria de Abril (Feria is 27 April-2 May 2004, 12-17 April 2005, 25-30 April 2006, 24-29 April 2007.) Feria originated as a livestock market but has now become the major social event of the Seville calendar. Upwards of a thousand casetas (small pavilions) see a week of eating and drinking manzanilla, while during the day the townsfolk parade their pretty horse carriages and flamenca dresses.
