You will find all the major international labels in Sydney with most having outlets in the major city centre shopping streets, arcades and department stores. Oxford Street in Paddington and the suburbs of Double Bay, and, to a lesser extent, Chatswood, are renowned for their boutique clothes stores and Australian designer labels. Names and labels to look for include Helen Kaminski, Collette Dinnigan, Morrissey, Bare, Isogawa and Bettina Liano. For designer bargains try the Market City above Paddy’s Markets in Haymarket. If you are looking for something completely different: perhaps a pair of pink hot pants or fluffy ear muffs, then head for Kings Street in Newtown. For the keen clothes shopper it will be impossible to leave the place empty-handed and who knows, it may change your wardrobe and style forever.
