The café above the Charital restaurant has equally attractive riverside views and serves cheap snacks, salads and soups. Kolu Kõrts, Rocca al Mare. Plain, peasanty Estonian fare in a convincing tavern-style setting near the entrance to the open-air museum. Café Grand, Kuninga 25, T 43 412, http://www.hot.ee/victoria. A good snack spot: inexpensive but excellent fish dishes are on offer at the local yacht club where you can dine whilst watching the boats on Pärnu River’s small marina.
