Renowned as one of the best trattorie in a region where you can’t really go wrong. EE Locanda della Posta di Barolo, piazza Municipio 4/1, T 0173 56385. It is worth the trip out to this agriturismo-restaurant 5 km out of town, serving sumptuous and plentiful dishes and specializing in a local menu. The food is delicious, the service friendly and the clientele young and vibrant. E Trattoria Aurora, viale Partigiana 58, closed Mon. Excellent local cuisine.
