Punto, Av del Cardenal Ben Lloch 33, T 963 933 017. Metro Amistad. This amazing shop stocks anything an aspiring femme fatale or drag queen could ever want from gold lamé shorts to feather boas, feather-trimmed negligées and heels as high as skyscrapers.

VdG Jovenes Diseñadores, C/Calatrava 9, T 963 916 881, http://www.vdg.com Bus 5B. It's virtually impossible to leave this small boutique in the Carme neighbourhood without buying anything. Hip, unusual women's fashion created by young, local designers, plus a great range of accessories including fabulous bags and shoes. The staff couldn't be nicer and it's a great place to pick up leaflets and fliers for Valencia's clubs.
