Taster menu is $65. Another of Vancouver's key players, with decor too casual to match the prices. $$ The Eatery, 3431 W Broadway, T 7385298. Sun-Thu 1630-2330, Fri-Sat 1630-0030. Trendy, very popular spot for Japanese-Western fusion food. Recommended. $$ The Naam, 2724 W 4th Av, T 7387151. Open 24 hours. The city's oldest vegetarian restaurant, good from break- fast to dinner, with generous portions. Simple interior and heated atrium-style patio. Live music every night from 1900-2200, jazz/folk/ world, etc. Licensed, with beers on tap and wine by the glass or bottle at very reasonable prices. Lots of desserts.
