An extra couple of days in the city gives the opportunity to explore more leisurely, taking in some of the less obvious parts of the city such as Veronetta, and perhaps a walk into the hills to the north. There are plenty more churches to explore, notably Sant’Anastasia, as well as the Teatro Romano and the Museo Archeologico on the river’s left bank.
