The Teatro Romano has a limited summer dance season in July and August, with some interesting modern touring groups visiting. Recent events have included Viennese opera and the Compaña Tango por Dos. Otherwise productions are limited to occasional touring visits, and occasional city council organized productions in the central piazzas.
