This is a friendly, traditional restaurant, right on the seafront. It specializes in seafood and local rice dishes, including paella, which you can enjoy on the breezy terrace. Alicante has an excellent array of atmospheric tapas bars, and the tapeo a kind of pub crawl from tapas bar to tapas bar is very much a part of everyday life. This cheerful bar features every kind of ham under the sun including the much-prized jamón Iberico produced from acorn-fed pigs. There's a great range of regional cheeses, too. This is a hip, colourful little place which attracts a youthful crowd and serves reasonably priced, but always inventive, Mediterranean cuisine.
